Truckee Marsh Open Water One of the Upper Truckee Marsh channels is close to meeting up with Lake Tahoe in the California, USA city of South Lake Tahoe. The marsh, one of the Sierra Nevada’s largest wetlands, is comprised of over six-hundred acres in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
